Nicki Minaj said to be close to a signing a new deal to join Mariah Carey on the popular shows judging panel. Sources say Minaj  is signing an $18million dollar deal to fill the hole left by the depature of J-Lo, & Aerosmith's Steven Tyler.

"I'm not sure the deal is completely done yet, but yes, she is definitely doing it. A few more slight things to sign off on but it is happening," Says an inside source close to Minaj.

Minaj is currently working our her new album titled "Triumphant, which is set to be released in early September.

Sources say original juge Randy Jackson is set may come off of the juding panel, & replaced by Nick Jonas. Jackson possibly becoming a mentor to all contestants on the show.
